Medical Dial-Up Modem Solutions - Serial TTL Interface
Radicom Research Medical Modem™ family makes it easy to integrate communications into medical platforms. Our ‘universal’ serial TTL I/O directly connects to your serial TTL communications port. With a VCC of only 3.3V, they are tolerant to 5V signals and controlled with standard AT commands, these modems have all features and signals needed for complete Auto Dial and Auto Answer communications.
This family has its own controller that manages all DSP functions – No more burdening your host control with complex DSP algorithms. These are completely self-contained controller based modems, ready to operate with simple AT commands.
A plethora of features are standard including data speeds from 300 bps to 56k bps, 14.4k bps fax, on line voice playback and record as well as DTMF Decoding and Generation. In that regard, these modems can be provisioned as an answering machine and can generate and follow DTMF tones for both Answer and Dial Out applications.
Other features of this fine family include Caller ID, Modem-on-Hold, Caller Waiting Detection, Data/Fax/Voice Call Discrimination and Extension Pickup Detection. Modem customization is available through patch code that can be stored in modems on board memory and can be field upgradeable*.
Easily interfaced to Public and PBX analogue phone lines, this family conforms to all standards required for immediate shipping to US, Canada, Europe and most other major industrialized countries around the world.
Telecom compliances include: FCC Pt. 68 and Pt. 15(USA) IC CS03(CAN), CTR21(EU). The Radicom Research Inc. MedicalModem™ Family also meets RoHS compliance directives and is certified to a broad range of safety and operation standards and withstand -40°C to +85°C operating conditions.
