Establishment
Founded in February 1993, Radicom Research designs, manufactures, markets and supports high performance communications products that provides access and sharing of information in the forms of electronic data, fax and voice.
Products
Radicom designs its products in compliance with all major international and domestic communications standards and protocols. Many of the products are designed using proprietary source codes to support CPU and DSP, allowing rapid modification of products features to meet specific requirements. The current Radicom’s products include:
- Dial-up modems – from 2400bps to 56Kbps data speed with RS232, Serial TTL, USB, ISA interfaces and PC/104 form factor
- 2-Wire leased-line modems
- Wireless modems – Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GSM and 900-928MHz license-free RF radio modems with USB or Serial interfaces in embedded module or stand-alone form factor.
- Wi-Fi Access Point
- Device drivers – Serial-to-Ethernet, USB-to-Ethernet, Bluetooth-to-Modems and Ethernet-to-Modems.
Business
Majority of Radicom’s business come from OEM and private labels, many of our clients are the worldwide leaders in their industries. Flexibility, extensive data-communication engineering background, quick turn-around and highly competitive prices are key factors that stimulate the continuous growth of our OEM & Private-label business. Radicom’s Sales Support, Technical Support and Research and Development activities are located in San Jose, California. Primary manufacturing is in Taiwan, where the facility can produce up to 300,000 modems per month.
