Radicom Research’s RB510 series Bluetooth audio module comes complete with DSP, stereo CODEC, flash and antenna.  It offers superior audio quality, power consumption and radio performance, making it ideal for high quality Bluetooth headset designs and other mono and stereo audio applications.    The embedded DSP core is an open platform digital signal coprocessor allowing product-enhancing features such as advance audio decoding (MP3, AAC, AAC+), speech recognition, text-to-speech, echo cancellation and noise reduction.

Utilizing with the latest Bluetooth technology, the RB510 and RB510HM can connect to other Bluetooth devices such as MP3/MD/CD players, mobile phones, and desktop or notebook computers, PDA etc., in range up to 10 meters.

The RB510 and RB510HM are Bluetooth V.2.1 + EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) compliant that increase throughput, reduce battery consumption and improve security.  It provides faster pairing and allows superior performance in the presence of interference from 802.11 (Wi-Fi) wireless devices and other 2.4GHz radios.

The RB510 and RB510HM have 8Mbits flash memory on board for loading custom OEM specific parameters and settings.  It provides an efficient method of adding a Bluetooth audio data link to most embedded applications.

There are three platforms available. The RB510 is a surface mount PCB module and the RB510HM is a DIP, through-hole module.  The RB510HM-c has a U.FL connector for external antenna.  The RB510HM-a has an on board antenna.
